Episode 88: Impact Entrepreneurship with Emily Grey

Episode 88 - Emily Grey

Today’s guest is Emily Grey. Emily is a speaker, small business coach, and impact entrepreneur focusing on helping makers and brand owners land + grow wholesale accounts. She also founded a brick + mortar and online boutique, The Flourish Market, located in Raleigh, NC, and created The Wholesale Way, a coaching program for makers and brand owners.

Emily spent eight years working as the VP of Communications and Change Management for an investment bank on Wall Street before realizing she was ready for something different. Although she loved her job and the team she worked with, she felt pulled to use her passions in another industry.

One night, a random search on Pinterest led to a new business idea, and three months later, she launched her first mini boutique on wheels.

This episode with Emily has so many great tidbits of information and inspiration! Whether you’re a maker or not, you will walk away excited and motivated to take action in your business.

“I think a lot of people are scared to look at their numbers, but I’m here to tell you it is way less anxiety-inducing when you know the facts. If you think you’re behind on taxes or whatever it is – I know that can feel very shameful, and you can get stuck. However, to get unstuck, we need the facts.” – Emily Grey
